Laapata Drama Story
Falak and Shams are cousins that adore one another. Falak enjoys playing badminton, and Shams has been using gambling to earn money for Falak. But, Geeti, a well-known TikToker, likes Shams and is also Falak and Shams’ cousin. Falak and Shams talked to their parents about getting married before getting engaged. But Shams was imprisoned as a result of his excessive gambling. Falak and Geeti, two of his housemates, were unaware of where he went. Shams has not yet been located after two years. Falak succeeds in a badminton competition and works a job. Daniyal, her supervisor, likes her and is following her around. She turned down each of his multiple marriage proposals. Finally, Falak killed her love for Shams and wed Daniyal when there was no sign of Shams’s return. To Islamabad, the couple relocated. Until Daniyal learns of Shams and Falak’s connection through a photo of Shams and Falak, they were leading happy lives. As he overreacts, Daniyal’s true nature as a psychopath is exposed.
Falak learns at a party that Daniyal had another lovely bride before Falak from the wife of his buddy. She goes on to say that Daniyal claims she fled and filed for divorce from him. But according to certain rumours, Daniyal killed his own wife because he believed she had been having an extramarital affair. The news astounded Falak. But, Shams, who has been away from home for two years, returns and finds out about Falak’s marriage. Saddened, he makes the decision to proceed. He secures employment at a factory and is given control over a certain floor. When Raju, one of the employees, demanded to be put in charge and was quite domineering, he ran into problems. As Falak has finally opened her route, Geeti requests her mother to arrange for her engagement to Shams. After some initial hesitation, her mother decides to speak with Shams’ parents. Shams and Geeti get engaged after they both consented.
Falak, on the other hand, has been completely overcome by Daniyal’s genuine nature. She disputes with Daniyal, who then becomes very agitated and smashes Falak’s phone. Their maid Munira strikes him with a pan just as he was about to kill her, causing him to pass out. Falak was instructed to put her trust in Munira because she was the only one who knew about Daniyal’s first wife’s murder. In a sequence of flashback scenes, it is revealed that Daniyal married Aliya, whose father had seized Daniyal’s father’s estates. Aliya’s brother helps Daniyal and Aliya get married because Aliya’s father won’t let it. They like their lives. Aliya is forbidden by Daniyal from seeing her relatives until after they immigrate to America. She consents. Aliya once asked Munira to come back to her house, which she dutifully did, but she also invited a man who Munira had never seen. This continued every day until Munira informed Daniyal via phone that Aliya had been having an extramarital affair. As Daniyal returns home, he spots her and immediately shoots her. She perishes at once. It turns out that the boy who assisted her in getting married was none other than her own brother. Her brother informed Daniyal that Aliya’s father had passed away following their marriage and that he was present to inherit the property in Aliya’s name. Aliya’s brother calls the police, which shocks Daniyal, and Daniyal shoots him as well. He orders Munira to keep their murders a secret from anyone. At this point in time, Falak is residing in Munira’s home. The following morning, Daniyal attacks them at Munira’s home before being killed by Falak. As Falak sees that, she is heartbroken, but Munira comforts her. Munira’s husband is not pleased with it because he fears that both of them will go into difficulty because Falak is in a difficult circumstance. When Falak overhears them discussing it, she tells Munira that she has been a great assistance to her, thanks her, and departs from her home. Shams and Geeti are engaged in the interim. Just before the engagement, Falak shows up, and Shams is overjoyed to see her again. But, Geeti disapproves of it. Falak arrives with the justification that she and Daniyal are travelling to America, so she would stay here for a bit before escaping to that country. The police show up the day before the wedding to take Falak into custody for the murder of Daniyal. The ceremony is postponed.
